Our Mission
Two girls in Baden, Pennsylvania find a historical marker that tells them they're standing on the grounds that was previously an Indian village. It spiked their curiosity and they started on an odyssey to discover more. They learned that this village was called Logstown. It was one of the biggest Indian villages on this part of the Ohio River. They also learned about Washington’s historic visit to this Indian village. It is that mission that becomes the focus of their story. Washington battled vast amounts of snow, forged icy rivers, and visited French fortifications in the wilderness. These girls tell that story! Come along to find out more, and see if you can find the hidden surprise they have created for you on each page! |
